Who are we?
AJ Hill Aesthetics has been running since 2019, starting off based in clinics offering aesthetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections, fillers, fibroblast and other procedures aimed at appearing our aesthetic desires. Originally starting out from home as a one healthcare professional show, we steadily grew to offer our services in local clinics and eventually hiring a clinic space on Harley Street.

When Covid-19 hit, the clinics all had to close. Aesthetic treatments were not designated as essential medical treatments and so our service effectively closed down - we no longer provide aesthetics and now solely specialise in weight loss treatment / medications. Prior to Covid-19, we had started to build an online presence to reach more customers in and around London. During the pandemic, we saw a sharp increase in online demand for the products we used in our previous clinics.

Most notably, we saw an increase in demand for weight-related treatments, such as the popular Saxenda (licensed for weight loss sine 2017). The difficulty was that everything had changed to being purely online and the question was - how were we going to assess people safely? As we used prescribers and registered pharmacies, with their input and from looking at the relevant guidance from the UK regulators, we were able to form consultations via telephone, email and online (video calls) alongside an in-depth health form.
Ensuring we are providing treatment appropriately, we continued to develop our checks, including a recognised form of ID, proof of previous usage of medicines, letters from doctors / clinics confirming approval for use of any treatments we offer and confirming facts submitted by customers. All this information is kept confidential and only shared with the appropriate parties to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Our ethos is about providing a holistic, safe & effective service for all of our customers, regardless of the service or product purchased. We are also your advocate with the pharmacies and manufacturers of the products provided. This is how we have retained many repeat customers over the years and continue to offer a service we are proud of. Your success is our success and we wouldn't be here with you at the heart of what we do.

Our aim is to continue to provide a high quality service around the real core of our business - the customer. We will continue to improve the processes already in place, with a plan to continue offering a wider range of support tools for our clients.
What do we offer as a business to our customers?
We operate as a platform between the customer and the pharmacies we use. As we are not a pharmacy ourselves, we can provide the service that a lot of pharmacies, both online and physical, cannot offer due to their business model or a lack of time. This includes all the initial information (from detailed information on the products to articles looking at the efficacy and the safe usage of these products) and the surrounding care during and after treatment.

All products, including any medicines, are approved for use within the UK by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). Some products we sell are also available via the National Health Service (NHS) - it may be worth exploring this as an option for your desired treatment via your NHS doctor/GP.

For the weight loss medications, these are not just dispensed and shipped to you - we know that these medications are all about lifestyle change. You're not just sent the medication and left to it - we provide ongoing and unlimited aftercare & support. We offer regular check ins every 10 days but you can also contact us 7 days a week if you need any advice or support at any time. We also provide a 28 Day Meal plan written by a nutritionist and lots of online support tools to help get you into the healthier habits and mindset whilst using the medication so that when you reach your target weight, you can safely come off the medication and be in the right frame of mind and have the good habits in place.

If purchasing a medication or a service via our platform, we can inform your GP of your intention to use the medication on your behalf with your explicit consent. We will provide proof of prescription, the relevant details regarding your dosing regime and the plan for overseeing your treatment.
Who are our partner pharmacies?
We only use pharmacies who are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). This ensures that the pharmacies we use are fully licensed, regulated and permitted to dispense medicines within the UK. We operate a fully auditable trail from the start of your process with us through to you receiving & using your medication. All items are traceable via the pharmacies we use and the licensed wholesalers they use through to the manufacturer of the products.

Our current pharmacy partners are:
Acre Pharmacy (GPhC Number: 9011661)
